Research
Research at the NYU Langone Medical Center’s Hospital for Joint Diseases Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is done primarily through the Musculoskeletal Research Center (MRC), the main research facility of the department.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is also an integral component of NYU Langone's Center of Excellence on Musculoskeletal Disease, a multidisciplinary effort coordinating the basic, translational, and clinical science efforts of the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rheumatology.
Additional Orthopaedic Surgery research is conducted through the Division of Outcomes Studies and the Clinical Research Institute.
