Joint Preservation Center

The Joint Preservation Center of New York at NYU Langone Medical Center's Hospital for Joint Diseases (JPC) is dedicated to advancing the operative and non-operative treatment of joint-related problems affecting the knee, shoulder, hip, elbow and ankle, aiming to reduce symptoms, restore function and delay the onset of degenerative arthritis in the young, active patient population. This is accomplished by applying cutting edge surgical and non-surgical techniques, specialized radiographic analyses and tailored physical therapy protocols, all supported by an active clinical and basic science research department, to form a multidisciplinary approach to the management of joint-related problems. For more information or to make an appointment, please visit the Joint Preservation Center website or contact the JPC at 1-855-PRSRV-ME.

HJD Joint Preservation Registry at NYU Langone Medical Center™

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery has initiated the HJD Joint Preservation Registry at NYU Langone Medical Center™ to advance personalized medicine in orthopaedic care. The rising incidence of total joint replacement in younger patients creates a significant burden on the health care system and on individual patients. The Joint Preservation Registry will create a unique and comprehensive database of the joint-preserving procedures utilized at the HJD Joint Preservation Center. Its focus is to keep improving our knowledge about which patients are right for which treatments, including the identification of biochemical and imaging biomarkers that help inform treatment decisions for individual patients.

Patients interested in participating in the Joint Preservation Registry should visit the Joint Preservation Center website or contact the Joint Preservation Center at 1-855-PRSRV-ME.
