Adult Reconstructive Surgery Division
All research fellowship positions are currently filled. Thank you for your interest.
The Division of Adult Reconstruction Surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases at NYU Langone Medical Center is offering a one-year research fellowship for recent college graduates and medical students interested in devoting one year of education to orthopaedic clinical research.
The fellow would work closely with Drs. Richard Iorio and Joseph Zuckerman, leaders of the Division, adult reconstruction attending physicians, orthopaedic surgery residents, statisticians and other research staff in the hospital, clinic, and lab setting. Fellows work in conjunction with attending physician mentors to develop and submit research projects.
As part of the clinical research data collection experience, fellows develop skills in patient interaction, learn and improve upon physical exam maneuvers, and observe orthopaedic surgeries. Individuals participating in this program would have the opportunity to accompany the adult reconstruction surgery team during morning rounds, listen to experts speak about current research during weekly Grand Rounds, and have the opportunity to become an important member of the NYU Langone Medical Center research community.
